Shortest Graduation Trip Ever!

In April, Danielle graduated from BYU - Hawaii! With our jobs, especially since I had just started a new one, we were only able to go for the weekend. We left AZ Friday morning and came home Sunday afternoon. It was quick, but wonderful! We enjoyed catching up with all who were able to make it.

Can you tell that they are siblings?

We had one cloudy beach afternoon.

Of course we had to eat my favorite coconut shrimp from Kahuku Grill. If you're ever at the North Shore of Oahu - go there!

Birthday Celebrations

With Robby's birthday in March and mine in June, spring is a fun birthday time for us!

For Robby's birthday we ate dinner at Joe's BBQ and then he picked Costco's red velvet cake for his birthday dessert.

I bought him tickets to a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game in April and we had a blast!

We can't wait to go see the Coyote's play again someday!

For my birthday I took the day off work because no one should have to work on their birthday, but having a 4 -day work week helps too.  Robby and I went to Liberty Market for lunch with our friends the Hartley's, since Eric and I share the same birthday. After lunch,  Robby took me birthday shopping and we finished the day with dinner and a movie!

Robby thought it would be fun to give me my birthday money in a big stack of $1 bills.  What a goofball! I felt so silly counting out all my $1's as I made my purchases - but it was fun.

Us at birthday lunch! It was so hot that day.

Thanks everyone for the fun birthday gifts!

Pre-Christmas in Las Vegas

Since we were spending Christmas in Seattle, we went to Las Vegas for a quick weekend to visit the Boyle's before the holidays.

We ate dinner at the top of the Stratosphere. Such a beautiful view!

We saw a fabulous new show called Zarkana at Aria.  The Christmas decorations in the hotel were amazing!
I loved this tree!
If you're ever in Las Vegas, check out this cool fountain wall at the Aria.

I finally got to have my frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity. Too bad it was freezing outside.
What a fun pre-Christmas celebration!

Flashback: Utah Trip October 2012

It has been a long time coming but here are a few pictures of our trip to Utah last October. After graduating and moving to Arizona, we realized we really missed BYU, so we decided to take a trip back to go to a football game! We enjoyed seeing family, fun friends and reminiscing about our BYU days.

Robby and I met up with Justin, Wendy, Cooper and Alex for lunch in Bountiful one day. We had fun catching up! If you want an interesting and delicious restaurant experience, check out Thyme and Seasons.

We also got to see our Arizona friends, Ian and Alejandra. We sure miss them!

Before the BYU game we walked over to Burger Supreme for lunch. That is one place we were dying to visit! We were happy to be back to the land of fry sauce.

We met up with Robby's friends and former co-workers from Athletic Marketing, Bill and Weston. Bill was able to sneak us on to the field at the beginning of the game. Robby did feel weird without his headset on though.

Us before the game. We were so happy and excited to be there.

We also got to see Jordan and Celeste and meet baby Mason, but we didn't take any pictures. Actually there is one somewhere of Robby and Jordan playing Just Dance on the Kinect...I'll have to find it :)

Thanks for the fun trip Utah!
